What is biofuel?  Biofuel is typically understood to include any fuel made from organic materials (generally plants or agricultural products or byproducts) that are renewable.  Unlike petroleum, the carbon in a plant is extracted from the atmosphere in the form of carbon dioxide as the plant grows.  Therefore, burning it does not create a net increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide.

Today's biofuels are typically more expensive than petroleum-based products.  However, it is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain relatively inexpensive petroleum, since this limited resource is being used to meet ever increasing global demand.  CPS Biofuel's patent pending processes can be used to narrow the gap between petroleum and biofuel production costs.  Biofuel is becoming increasingly important in petroleum augmentation and substitution worldwide.  Optimizing your biofuel production today will increase your chances of becoming a market leader in the future.

> Our processes can significantly reduce the costs of producing biodiesel fuel, by eliminating the need for ethanol and/or generating useful fuel additives.

> Our patent-pending processes provide values such as:

     - complete utilization of the glycerol by-products
     - process is capable of any source of vegetable oil or trap greases
     - reduction or elimination of the purchase of expensive alcohols
     - the production method is scalable for any new or existing facility
     - processes available for use with existing infrastructure
     - our biofuels can be used in today's engines without modification
     - our biofuels and / or additives are readily blended with and can improve the
       performance of conventional fuels

CPS Biofuels is focused on the conversion of vegetable oils (free fatty acids) and their byproducts (glycerol) into usable alternative fuels and fuel additives.  Our other company BGT Biogasoline www.bgtbiogasoline.com is focused on conversion of sugars (cellulosic matter) into fuels like ethanol and biogasoline.  Both companies have extensive intellectual property and experience in leading edge alternative fuel technology.

Mission Statement

CPS is focused on the development of proprietary processes to optimize biofuel alternatives.

The core business is focused on improving efficiency of biofuel, ethanol, and processing for the existing transportation infrastructure.
