Ethanol

In the U.S. nearly 750 million gallons of ethanol goes into gasoline annually.  Most of the gasoline uses ethanol as an oxygenate to replace MTBE for improved emissions.  E85 fuel (85% ethanol and 15% gasoline) is becoming more popular since many of the cars produced within the last few years are certified by the automobile manufacturers to use this fuel.

Biodiesel and Biogasoline

Biodiesel has become a 'catch phrase' for many types of alternative diesel fuels used throughout the world.  Diesel engines are more efficient than gasoline engines.  In addition, vehicles operating with biodiesel, which is a byproduct of annually renewable crop oils, provides reduced volumetric consumption per mile.  Biodiesel per ASTM D6751 will operate in virtually any diesel engine produced today without modification.

CPS is an early pioneer in biogasoline.  Our biogasoline is comparable to petroleum gasoline and can be used in virtually any gasoline engine.  Biogasoline and biodiesel are both directly derived from crop oils or other agricultural products and are sustainable and renewable.
